How To Install Xdrive

When you try to install Xdrive, All the kinds of Xdrive error code( also called Xdrive Result Code) drives you crazy--for example Xdrive Result code 261,Xdrive Result code 53.
You just can't get it work.
Here is how you do it:
1. Incorrect NetBIOS settings on your Network Interface card, if the setting is set to disabled it must be changed to enabled or default and then reboot.

1a) Go to the Network Connections in the Control Panel and right-click on the active adapter here, typically will be the Local Area Network or LAN adapter.

1b) Then highlight the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and click properties.

1c) On the lower right, click Advanced and at the next screen click the WINS tab at the top.

1d) In the Netbios setting you want it to be either Default or Enabled, although you may need to leave Enabled if the Default option does not work.

2. Incorrect Proxy server settings in the Xdrive Desktop Application or the browser, if you have no proxy server within your network or ISP then the setting on the proxy tab within the settings tab should be set to 'Don't use a Proxy Server'. If you have a Proxy Server then please fill in the information obtained from your Network or System Administrator.

3. The XdrSmb engine is still running from a previous attempt to start or did not end from a previous attempt to start, to check this go to 'Task Manager' and find the XDRSMB under the processes tab and then highlight it and then select the 'End Process' button at the bottom.

5. Third party software like Spy Ware, Ad Ware, Anti-Virus, or Anonomizer type software will block Xdrive.
